I grew up in Palm Springs, California, and originally studied Business Administration before completing an MBA in Marketing. My career path eventually led me somewhere unexpected — teaching and coaching English — and it turned out to be the perfect blend of my two passions: business and communication.

Costa Rica has been part of my life for more than 40 years. My grandmother lived in Playa Bejuco, and what began as childhood visits eventually became a permanent move. I’ve now lived here for 27 years and proudly hold Costa Rican nationality.

Over the years, I’ve worked across many sectors — from teaching at the University of Costa Rica and collaborating with the Japanese Embassy to supporting professionals in multinational companies as an English communication consultant. I’ve also taught learners of all ages, from primary school students to senior managers and corporate teams.

For a period of time, I split my life between Costa Rica and Madrid, Spain. That chapter ended during the pandemic, and today I’m happily based full-time in Cariari de Belén, where I live with my very spoiled pug, Maya.

I’ve been coaching English communication in Costa Rica for over 20 years, and what motivates me most is seeing professionals gain confidence, expand opportunities, and succeed in their careers. My work today is fully private and personalized — each program is designed around the individual’s goals, professional context, and communication challenges.

I love what I do because it allows me to combine business insight with practical language coaching. My clients are professionals from diverse industries, and every conversation brings new perspectives and ideas.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Costa Rica’s incredible natural beauty — from mountains to beaches — and I feel deeply grateful to live and work in a place I love.
